That extra width means fewer longitudinal joins, a more expansive floor surface, and enough face area to show the oak pattern, colour variation, and surface texture convincingly. Furthermore, the 6mm SPC core resists moisture absorption, temperature change, and dimensional movement, so the floor stays flat and stable across Australian conditions year-round. \n

\nAt 0.55mm, the wear layer sits at the upper end of the 7mm hybrid category. As a result, XL Hybrid handles both residential and commercial traffic confidently. The low gloss polyurethane UV cured coating adds ceramic bead reinforcement for additional surface hardness. Moreover, the Embossed in Register finish aligns physical texture with the printed oak grain beneath, so the floor feels like timber, not just looks like it. \n

Pre-Attached Underlay and Easy Installation

\nThe 1mm Dunlop high density foam backing comes pre-attached, so there's no need to source separate underlay on floating installations.
